Situated just 2 miles north of Callington, Polhilsa offers a beautiful, secluded setting for your wedding reception or function with guaranteed privacy in a rural setting.

The lawn at Polhilsa lies by the edge of two lakes and provides a stunning location with the beautiful moors of Caradon and the farm lakes providing a superb backdrop.

Marquees by the lakes

Our large lawned area can host wedding receptions and other celebrations of all sizes from marquees suitable for a small intimate gathering to larger marquees that can accommodate up to 180 people (depending on your specific requirements).

You are welcome to source your own marquee supplier or we can put you in touch with our preferred suppliers.

Our Hospitality Suite

Smaller weddings and parties may be accommodated in our own hospitality suite in a recently converted barn. Seated functions for up to 45 guests.

We can accommodate slightly more if your specific requirements are more informal.

Planning your Event

At Polhilsa, we have no formal packages allowing you flexibility to build a unique function just as you want it. Hire a blank canvas and build your own event with support from us as required or allow us to build your function for you following your exact requirements.

Please note we are not licensed to conduct legal wedding ceremonies here at Polhilsa. However, we are able to host blessings and bespoke ceremonies that are designed just for you.

We are also able to provide Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering accommodation within a range of converted barns at Polhilsa Farm and can provide prices with or without accommodation. Packages that offer complete exclusivity of Polhilsa are also available.
